This is a page on Starwars.com featuring the in-character messages that the actors from the original
Star Wars movies recorded for an
Empire Strikes Back promo phone hotline in 1980. It's sweet to hear these characters saying
new stuff after so many years of hearing them recite the same lines over and over again... But it's also kind of weird to hear Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader getting meta on us and pimping the upcoming release of their movie.
