Blair goes crazy and murders everybody on THE FACTS OF LIFE

I missed this when it was new, but I'm sure it would've traumatized my young self pretty good. Blair Warner gruesomely kills everybody in the Facts of Life Halloween episode, Seven Little Indians. Sometimes it seems like just about every silly sitcom from my childhood had at least one episode where the writers just totally lost their minds.

Blair was certainly the most elegant one. Lisa Whelchel played the part extremely well. Even she could make the Eastland school uniform look somewhat "fashion-tolerable." But she sometimes had problems tying her tie. Sometimes it was was off to one side or she'd leave a big gap between the top button of her collar and the knot of her tie. There was one episode where one side of her collar was sticking straight up!

I think we all have known a "Blair Warner" in our lifetimes. You know...the girl who is seemingly perfect in every way. Received nothing but an A+ in every class. Won every award. Recognized for every achievement. Never late for anything. Perfect hair, perfect teeth, perfect clothing. Not a hair is out of place, not a button missed, blouse or shirt always tucked in. So, sometimes it's enjoyable to see a "Blair Warner" looking "not-so-perfect." If she's wearing a school uniform, maybe her tie is crooked, or maybe her tie got pulled, or her collar is twisted up, or her collar became unbuttoned. It's fun to see "perfect people" have a "wardrobe malfunction" one in a while.
