A new trailer is live for the Star Trek Online MMORPG. This one is actually pretty grim, making it sound like the Federation is on the brink of falling to the Klingons. There's also been news that Zachary Quinto will provide a voice in the game... But he won't be Spock, he'll be the voice of an Emergency Medical Hologram. (That seems like sort of a strange choice. Quinto is a Trek A-lister these days, and voicing an EMH is not what'd you call the coolest gig.)

Who is he, this one who is called "Greg Stacy"?
Greg Stacy began the MONSTERS AND ROCKETS blog in April of 2009. Prior to that, he was editor of the popular sci-fi/horror news website DARKWOLDS.COM. He has also written for LA WEEKLY, OC WEEKLY, UTNE READER and LOS ANGELES CITYBEAT. He always feels weird writing about himself in the third person.
