Comments are fixed!

Saturday, July 11, 2009

At long last, I've fixed the comments. You people have no idea what a bear this was to figure out. But now it is finally done, and you're free to post trollish comments about how this blog is teh suck.

While I'm getting meta, here: Notice all the stuff about "senior moments" turning up in the Google Adsense ads on the site? Apparently Adsense scanned my post about how the producers of the Harry Potter movies are planning to age the cast, and deduced that this was a site about aging. Well, at least that's better than when they banned me for a while after they scanned my post about giantess erotica for deaf people and decided this was a dirty site. (Now they'll see the word "dirty" and start running a lot of ads for soap.)

Got a tip for Monsters and Rockets? Want to contribute to the site? Send us an email.

About This Blog

"Science fiction plucks from within us our deepest fears and hopes, then shows them to us in rough disguise: the monster and the rocket." - W.H. Auden

Who is he, this one who is called "Greg Stacy"?

Greg Stacy began the MONSTERS AND ROCKETS blog in April of 2009. Prior to that, he was editor of the popular sci-fi/horror news website DARKWOLDS.COM. He has also written for LA WEEKLY, OC WEEKLY, UTNE READER and LOS ANGELES CITYBEAT. He always feels weird writing about himself in the third person.
