De Niro and Cheech Marin: together at last

In an act of genius or horrifying masochism, Robert Rodriguez has cast his upcoming Grindhouse spinoff Machete with a rogue's gallery of today's most notoriously "difficult" stars. Not just Lindsay Lohan, but Michelle Rodriguez and Steven Seagal. He's also throwing in master thespians Jessica Alba and Danny Trejo and Cheech Marin, with a role for Robert De Niro(!) as well.

To heck with actually making Machete; all Rodriguez has to do is set up a camera at the craft services table and he'll have the best backstage footage ever. Just imagine De Niro making small talk with Marin, when they're interrupted by the latest spectuacular catfight between Lohan and Rodriguez.
