Strange people torturing poodles with "creative grooming"

Saturday, August 29, 2009

The wretched and unhappy creature you see to the right is not a mutant panda. It is a poodle... A poodle that somebody has trimmed and dyed to look like a panda. If you find this disturbing (and you do, if you have a human heart,) you definitely don't want to click on this link to learn more about the unspeakable practice known as "creative grooming".

I'm honestly not sure I want to live in a world where things like this happen.

no they do not torture them, they use vegetable based dye and kool aide to start with. NOT to mention that dog does not look unhappy, in all out honesty the dogs love it, they freely jump on the table happily ready to be groomed like that, why? Because if YOU know dogs, you know they LOVE attention and what better way for them to get all the 'ohhh's and awww's'?? They get even more attention looking like that then if they do not. AND dogs know how to get the attention they want! If a dog is not a 'willing' participant, they do not get groomed like that, they have to 'want' it, and believe me some dogs don't want the 'regular' grooming, ask any groomer they will tell ya, oh wait I am a groomer and am telling ya! I don't do Creative Grooming as of yet, but have been looking into it, doing my research, you should too instead of passing judgement! Bet you like the circus, go look em up....THAT'S CRUELITY!!

Who is he, this one who is called "Greg Stacy"?

Greg Stacy began the MONSTERS AND ROCKETS blog in April of 2009. Prior to that, he was editor of the popular sci-fi/horror news website DARKWOLDS.COM. He has also written for LA WEEKLY, OC WEEKLY, UTNE READER and LOS ANGELES CITYBEAT. He always feels weird writing about himself in the third person.
