The first trailer is now online for Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, the upcoming film based on Darren Shan's supernatural thriller book series, The Saga of Darren Shan. The trailer does look intriguing, although John C. Reilly, bless his heart, makes just about the least cool vampire ever. When you've got a big baby-head like that, brooding and mysterious is just not an option. He looks like a goth Dewey Cox.

Who is he, this one who is called "Greg Stacy"?
