Wonder Twin powers... Activate!

Kryptonsite is reporting a rumor that the upcoming season of Smallville will feature Zan and Jayna, the Wonder Twins from the old Saturday morning ABC Super Friends show. Allison Scagliotti will allegedly play the alien shapeshifter Jayna, while David Gallagher will portray her brother Zan, the pointy-eared boy with the stunning ability to turn into a puddle at a moment's notice.

If this rumor is true, this is either one of the most ridiculous or most awesome ideas I've heard in years. I'm a bit of a Superman fan, but I've never seen a single episode of Smallville. I was curious when it started, but I missed the first few episodes and never caught up. Now the show has been on for like 17 seasons and it's too late for me to start watching... But I think I might make the time to see the Wonder Twins do their widely-imitated fist bump thing. Throw in Gleek the blue monkey, and I am so there.
