MUSIC FROM SPACE: Supernova - MATH

Friday, May 15, 2009

Once upon a time - the late '80s, to be specific - there was a distant world called Cynot3, where the people spent their days in the happy pursuit of aluminum foil. (Hey, a lot of us spend our days in the unhappy pursuit of little green pieces of paper, so who are we to judge?) All was well... Until the fiendish Smarmies arrived and destroyed Cynot3 in a supernova. Three Cynotians fled in their tricked-out space-van, using rock n' roll for fuel. They landed in Costa Mesa, and ever since they have wandered the Earth, trying to teach we ignorant humans the Cynotian way... Before it's too late. About This Blog

"Science fiction plucks from within us our deepest fears and hopes, then shows them to us in rough disguise: the monster and the rocket." - W.H. Auden

Who is he, this one who is called "Greg Stacy"?

Greg Stacy began the MONSTERS AND ROCKETS blog in April of 2009. Prior to that, he was editor of the popular sci-fi/horror news website DARKWOLDS.COM. He has also written for LA WEEKLY, OC WEEKLY, UTNE READER and LOS ANGELES CITYBEAT. He always feels weird writing about himself in the third person.
