Raimi's DRAG ME TO HELL trailers online

Thursday, May 7, 2009

For years, Evil Dead fans have been waiting for Sam Raimi to get over this Spider-Man foolishness and get back to the mission that God put him on this Earth to complete: making Evil Dead movies. His upcoming picture Drag Me to Hell is not, alas, the Evil Dead sequel for which we have waited, oh, so very long, but it is a low-budget horror shocker. And that's a good start.

Alison Lohman stars as an ambitious loan officer who runs afoul of a sinister old lady and finds herself cursed. Normally I'd embed the trailers here, but Traileraddict.com is being fussy about embeds just now so I'll send you over there to soak in the Raimi-scented goodness.

About This Blog

"Science fiction plucks from within us our deepest fears and hopes, then shows them to us in rough disguise: the monster and the rocket." - W.H. Auden

Who is he, this one who is called "Greg Stacy"?

Greg Stacy began the MONSTERS AND ROCKETS blog in April of 2009. Prior to that, he was editor of the popular sci-fi/horror news website DARKWOLDS.COM. He has also written for LA WEEKLY, OC WEEKLY, UTNE READER and LOS ANGELES CITYBEAT. He always feels weird writing about himself in the third person.
