Fox offer LOST spoilers

Speaking at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, Lost star Matthew Fox spilled a whole pot of beans about the upcoming, final season. (Click the image at left to buy Lost season 5 on DVD.)
Apparently the very first episode of season six will reveal what happened after the (literally) explosive season five finale, and it will be "confusing and suprising at first." Jack and Locke will be in opposition quite a bit. (Why do I have the feeling that Locke, or who or whatever now claims to be Locke, will turn out to be the real "big bad" we all used to think Ben Linus was?) Not long into the season, the various timelines will become "solidified into one time" and there will be no more flashbacks or flashforwards. (No more disorienting time jumps in Lost? That'll be hard to get used to.)
Finally, Fox describes the series resolution as moving, beautiful, redemptive and sad, all of which seems to lend weight to rumors we've heard about Jack dying. He also says it's "awesome," and I suspect he's right. (At the very least, the show's creators have promised they won't end it on a Soprano's note, cutting to black with everything still unresolved. A good thing too, because if they tried to pull that crap with Lost, people would be rioting in the streets.)
