MUSIC FROM SPACE: Electric Six - DANGER! HIGH VOLTAGE

Wednesday, June 17, 2009

This Electric Six music video is admittedly a bit of a stretch for Music from Space, as it doesn't really have a sci-fi or horror element. It's also very nearly obscene, even though it never really shows you anything. But I simply can't resist sharing it with you. Not only will this song rock the socks right off your body, but the video cracks me up every freakin' time. From the Love Moose to the screams of "Fire in the Taco Bell," I love everything about this stupid clip. (While the band has been weirdly reluctant to admit it, that's apparently Jack White that actress Tina Kanerik is lip-synching.)

About This Blog

"Science fiction plucks from within us our deepest fears and hopes, then shows them to us in rough disguise: the monster and the rocket." - W.H. Auden

Who is he, this one who is called "Greg Stacy"?

Greg Stacy began the MONSTERS AND ROCKETS blog in April of 2009. Prior to that, he was editor of the popular sci-fi/horror news website DARKWOLDS.COM. He has also written for LA WEEKLY, OC WEEKLY, UTNE READER and LOS ANGELES CITYBEAT. He always feels weird writing about himself in the third person.
