BUFFY VS. EDWARD (TWILIGHT REMIXED)

I'll admit I've never actually read any of the Twilight books or seen the movie. (I heard about the "sparkly" vampires, and that was it for me.) It could be that I'd love Twilight, if I only gave it a chance. But the more I get exposed to the Twilight universe, the more it looks like Buffy without any grit, or comedy, or real scares. So this mash-up is pretty sweet, pitting Buffy against that Edward guy the ladies are always swooning about.

The editing could be a little tighter. There are a few too many distracting shots where Buffy instantly changes her clothes or hairstyle, and the very warm, sunny Sunnydale inexplicably becomes gray and rainy almost every time we cut to Ed. (Hey, if you've already wasted three days of your life making a goofy mashup video, why not waste another five minutes and fiddle with some filters and sound effects to make things look a little more consistent?) But the dialogue flows pretty well, with Buffy and Edward getting along just about as well as you'd imagine. (Click the image at left to buy the complete Buffy series on DVD.)
